Dang, it's already 5 months into the new year. It's been a rollercoaster of a year so far. Anyway, it looks like Heisei is ending tonight so I figure I'd do a quick update!
やっとホームページのデザイン更新しました！まだ完成ではないが、スマホにも使うこと になりました。このテーマのベースを分かる人いますかね？
I got around to writing a new theme for my blog finally! It's only partially complete (will be working on it for a while) but unlike the one that's been in use here since 2014, this one should render fine on mobile. Wonder if anyone knows what the theme is based on?
今年日本に引っ越さないことになりました。4月18日に入管からの非交付の報告が 来ていて、前の会社から退職したごろの企画まだ再開します。短大に行って、そして カリフォルニア大学バークレー校に転校(まあ予定より一年遅れてる)。だが、他の道も 調べていますから、また何か変わるかもしれません。
Japan isn't happening this year. Japan's Immigration Bureau sent me a rejection letter on the 18th of April on the basis - stating pretty much what I expected - of my lack of a degree and experience. So, I'm falling back to my original plan from when I quit my job last year, of going to community college in preparation for a UC Berkeley transfer, albeit set back a year now. I'm still considering some other options, though.
